Marcus Rashford is not only a role model to many children across the globe who wants to don the famous Manchester United jersey, but he continues to be a perfect young man who shows the world that young people have the power to change the world.

The world got to know about his love for children when he started his inspiring campaign of ending food poverty in the United Kingdom during the lockdown of last year- which was necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

And he has now followed that up with a book that will help many children to become good human beings and future role models themselves in their different societies.

In You Are a Champion, using his life experiences, Marcus provides practical, and psychological life lessons targeted to many children to help them become responsible, intelligent, mentally strong, self-loving, respectful, and confident human beings.

Now, I need to make a disclaimer that I am not a fan of motivational books, because in many cases, I find myself struggling to relate with what the authors of such books are telling me.

However, perusing through the pages of this book- even though I am not really a target market, I find myself relating some of the lessons that Marcus is dishing out- particular one that had to do with believing in self.

You Are a Champion has reminded me that I will never reach my dreams if I do not believe in the self, because that’s where everything starts.

If you like me and have young nephews, nieces or children who are trying to find themselves in this world, this book will be a good present to gift them at that young age, because it will not only change their lives, but will help them have the right attitude, confidence, and braveness to face everything life will throw to them.

You Are a Champion is a practical parental book guide that will help so many of us to raise not only good successful human beings, but good human beings who will understand that helping others is a human responsibility.

While this is a book for children, I will also recommend it to even adults: there are good life lessons that can also change and shape your life for the better.

With this book, Marcus has once again shown us that we need to raise our children in a good way- by shaping and instilling good life values in them when they are still young, so as to protect our future.

You Are a Champion is a gift to humanity, and I will sure gift it to my 9-year-old nephew.
